You should start restoring your default or original Shaders (under ShadersHLSL on the main P3D folder), get your normal white clouds and then apply your preferred PTA settings and see again if you are back to normal (I don't think you should use PTA and RSP at the same time).

Hello Mark and Simba 

 

Blacks clouds manly is due to a Corrupt ShadersHLSL folder 

 

Do these steps, In this order 

 

(1) Go to your Prepar3D v3 Install Location and Delete your ShadersHLSL folder 

 

(2) Go to your Prepar3D v3 download folder,  Right Click on Install_Client.msi and Click Repair  This will give you a Default (New) ShadersHLSL back 

 

(3) Delete your Shaders folder found here  Local Disk (C:) ► Users ► you ► AppData ► Local ► Lockheed Martin ► Prepar3D ► Shaders

 

(4) Launch Prepar3D and confirm all is good again
