June 23, 20169 yr I saw this post here before, I think… I once had the little green arrow pointing to the tuned VOR in the GTN but now it won't work, I have tried two VOR's in primary and secondary freqs. I can get the DEM red letters to read distance to it but that little green V shaped arrow won't point. Worked in FSX. Now have P3D 32. Version 1.1 of the Shrike. Not updated yet, didn't even know there was an update. Win 7 64 Thanks Jack Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20169 yr Hello Version 1.2 fixed that problem, it now works on the HSI. They also updated the ADF indicator, from dual to single. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
June 23, 20169 yr Author Hello Version 1.2 fixed that problem, it now works on the HSI. They removed the other one from the CDI. Thanks! Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20169 yr Author Hello Version 1.2 fixed that problem, it now works on the HSI. They also updated the ADF indicator, from dual to single. Well, I have the GTN up in version 1.2 I just installed and I'm getting 61 miles from the VOR DME but no green V movememt yet. I remember it did work in FSX before 1.2.But now I'm in P3D 3.2. Maybe i'll move as I get closer? I hope so. How can I tell I have the correct version? I uninstalled ut, downloaded the AC500 from my account. Installed it. Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20169 yr I´m not on my PC now. But look at the ADF indicator. If you have 2 arrows then you don't have version 1.2. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
June 23, 20169 yr How can I tell I have the correct version? the installation file should be RO200Xv1.2 bob
June 23, 20169 yr Author I have one arrow on the ADF indicator but that little green V on the HSI won't budge. Is it now sync'd to the GTN750? Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20169 yr Is your GTN750 set up to drive NAV1 or NAV2? GTN750 It is usually set to NAV1 for this plane. To drive NAV2, use the NAV2 radio on the pedestal. Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.
June 23, 20169 yr Author Is your GTN750 set up to drive NAV1 or NAV2? GTN750 It is usually set to NAV1 for this plane. To drive NAV2, use the NAV2 radio on the pedestal. Ah, yes. My mistake. I'll try that.Thank you! the installation file should be RO200Xv1.2bobNope, mine was RO200X.zip, I got it from My Account. So where do I get the new one if it's not in My Account? Do I have to re-buy it? No where does it tell me there's an update. Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20169 yr Nope, mine was RO200X.zip, I got it from My Account. there should have been an installation info file, that should say what ver it is. bob its the install file I'm referring to , not the zip file
June 23, 20169 yr Author there should have been an installation info file, that should say what ver it is. bob I stand corrected Bob, I looked at that eft and sure enough it showed 1.2 and the file was named 1.2. Gosh I feel sheepish… Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20169 yr I stand corrected Bob, I looked at that eft and sure enough it showed 1.2 and the file was named 1.2 bin there done that. btw there is away to use the Nav2 with the gtn750, (Never tried it) so don't know if it works, if you right click on the GTN750 top right. (on the sd card )it should give an option. I just use the nav2 radio and the green arrow on the HSI. bob
June 23, 20169 yr Author Works like a champ Bob, thanks for your patience. I'll try that SD card bit but if I remember it didn't work when I tried it last. Jack Sawyer
June 23, 20169 yr I have one arrow on the ADF indicator but that little green V on the HSI won't budge. Is it now sync'd to the GTN750? If the GTN is in GPS mode, it is linked to the GPS course. If you set the GTN to VLOC mode, it is linked to VOR1. Bert
