Vehicle menu not loading.

Hi Guys

I had this issue as well, I managed to resolve it by deleting the C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Roaming\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 folder.

Note, you may want to back up the dll.xml first.

Update:

Reinstalled the 737 ngx (following the readme file). No vehicle menu loading. Did what 77west suggested and deleted the folder. Vehicle menu loaded, grabbed the pmdg and went for it - pc dies during loading.

Tried again, got the same result.. Uninstalled the 737 ngx - now everything works fine again.

Are you trying to install the FSX version of the NGX into P3D?

There is certainly something unique about your problem, other than Wes' comment I've not seen this before in the forum.  However, if your P3D works perfect until you install the NGX I recommend you go to PMDG Product Support, create a support account and open a trouble ticket.

You should be getting an error message from P3D if the NGX install is creating an error in a P3D file.  Checking the FAQs at the P3D web site they recommend these be deleted in between the uninstall and install of P3D if there are problems:

  • C:\Program Files (x86)\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3 (or the modified install location)
  • %PROGRAMDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3
  • %LOCALAPPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3
  • %APPDATA%\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v3
  • %USERPROFILE%\Documents\Prepar3D v3 Files

pc dies during loading.

This almost looks like a hardware issue if your whole PC just crashes during loading.
