July 8, 20169 yr Would this do me any good or am I wasting my money? I am currently using X-Plane 10.50 and P3D. Also after I install the additional 16GB memory modules, will Windows auto detect it and I'm good to go, or do I need to tinker with system settings? I'm on Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit btw. July 11, 20169 yr If you are only using your PC for Flightsim (FSX, P3d) it would be a waste. I do not use X-Plane so maybe you might want to ask their forums about memory usage. If you are using your PC for other applications that can take advantage of more memory like Adobe Photoshop (more ram is better), then even 32gb might not even be enough. There's nothing to setup, Windows 7 will auto-detect your memory.
