Is there a follow me car add-on for P3D available?

Featured Replies

There's a useful add-on on X-Plane 10 for a follow me car. I was wondering if any of you know of a good one for P3D?

Not sure if GSX has this feature built in? It would help me out with taxiing to my runway much easier. Just choose the runway, and have the car take you there.

Or can we do this directly in P3D? I remember one time seeing arrows, pointing me to the the right direction to take, but I think you have to use the built-in ATC in order to see them. I don't use ATC when flying, so I need another solution.

GSX has this feature. If you take the time to read the GSX feature list it will explain all the functions available.

Plus GSX has a free trial for select airports and also works for free at all FSDT and Flighbeam airports.

Ciao Aaron,

Indeed you have a perfectly working follow-me car feature in FSDT GSX. You can invoke it either for taxing to the RWY or parking to the gate at the end of the flight.

I use it all the time. I have a (negligible) stutter when the parking distance/alignment readouts appear above the marshaller, but apparently there's a way to disable it.

Thanks, sorry it's been awhile since I've used P3D. Totally forgot about that! Awesome, since I already purchased GSX! Will definitely be using this. :)
