July 25, 20169 yr Many many years ago, my old boss actually raced a DC-7 around the pylons at the Mojave air races, competing against the Mistangs and Bearcats. He started in very last place (The only plane that did not get to start according to the qualifying time) and actually ended in 6th place! Kerry W.
