hello i cant activate my 777x base pack on windows 7 sp1

one windows open and say it to me 

 

error unable to connect to activation server

please check your internet connection and try again

As mentioned, check your internet connection. This doesn't mean "can you browse to any website?" This means that you should check to ensure you can access our website, check your firewall on your computer, on your router, and potentially your Internet Service Provider (ISP).

 

 

I have the same problem, already opened a support ticket

I can acess the PMDG website, there is no firewall, WIndows firewall and defender are deacitvated, now I get this error "Unable to activate communication. Please contact PMDG Support - (50018,41145,32)

would be better to fix the error Kyle, instead of complain about forum rules ;)

 

And now I have to ask someone else to follow the forum rules as well (point 4):

Sometimes, when you're troubleshooting things, you have to run tests and cycle power. Neither of those things would afford someone time to attempt to address things here on the forum, clearly...

 

Remember that activation issues are not always caused by the server. They can be caused by all of the path in between as well. Just about every router out there now has a firewall on it.

 

 

 

All the same, the server has been rebooted. Try now.

 

i saw your post, i´ve checked my internet connection and disabled my firewall, now i get this message "ERROR: Unabel to activate communications"

Looks like a server reboot has fixed the issue. For those of you having issues, please try again. If you receive a different error message, please reach out to us via the support portal (linked in my signature, below), and we'll troubleshoot the issue with you.

 

We have filed another complaint with our vendor and promise to keep on them until we get this resolved.

Wen Trying to activate my 777 I unfortunately receive the following error message as of today

 

"error unable to connect to activation server

please check your internet connection and try again"

 

Could it be the case that your server needs a reboot again?

You are asking this question in the user forum, mostly other customers just like you.  Technical issues like this should be sent to PMDG on a trouble ticket at the PMDG Product Support portal.

Hi,

bought 747 v3 today and can't activate it already during 2 hours.

Checked everything from my side. No antivirus, disabled embedded windows firewall. I'm browsing precisionmanuals.com successfully.

 Updated operations center and downloads 747 upgrade but failed to install it, I suppose due to the failed activation.

Hosts file in it's default state, no any additional records. I can't ping license.precisionmanual.com, maybe some server side failure on your side?

Need your help. Already opened support ticket but it's too long to wait 24-48 hours. Hope someone from dev team will read this message.
