I might have a decent mesh of the planet thanks to Freemesh X and recently of the USA thanks to OFX mega mesh, but I haven't bought any photoreal scenery.

Always enjoyable seeing different parts of the world in photoreal scenery. Nice little Mooney too!

 

I might have a decent mesh of the planet thanks to Freemesh X and recently of the USA thanks to OFX mega mesh, but I haven't bought any photoreal scenery.

Thanks very much for commenting.....Photoscenery requires high performance storage about 160mb/sec (blurries) a 7200rpm HDD is only capable of 80mb/sec.

Photoscenery is not a burden on CPU/memory runs about 55fps avg.allows max-out image quality.

The higher the resolution the higher the file size: MSE 2 California about 70GB.

I'll have to check the HDD type in my PC - I do use some photoreal scenery - the Canary Islands, but they are freeware (still not bought any :) ).

 

Just noticed when looking at the screenies again: Is that Mr. Trump standing by the Mooney?? :P

Thank you very much....near Quartzsite I 10 goes by the two flat top mountains...there is other unusual formations of igneous rock and a mountain called saddle!
