Prepar3D stopped working for two days

Featured Replies

My Prepar3D stopped working since yesterday after I spent 2. Days flying with no problems it will not start I run as admin either alone or from my Rex but in both occasions I get the prepa3d screen and nothing after that . I deleted config file nothing changed. Deleted under documents Prepar3D v3 files nothing changed . Went to program and ran repair and restart still won,t start. No new programs were added at all.

Thanks for the help

System restore is your best friend.

System restore is your best friend.

In many, many years, I have never seen system restore fix anything.

Disable everything in your dll.xml and exe.xml file. Delete the shader cache. Delete the Prepar3d.cfg file.

See if that helps.

This has  happened to me after I set a PMDG as the default airplane.

Temporarily renaming the PMDG folder solved it for me.
