November 20, 200520 yr Suddenly, large square patches of ground have appeared from nowhere. Victoria (superbly enhanced by Holger) is now on a beautiful salty lake and the cruise ships do some clear-cutting of their own.I can't think of any changes made recently that could be related to this; I have only installed new aircraft and yes! the Columbia River Gorge upgrade.I have also noticed that most Spanish airports now sit at E00.00 either at the Pole or the Equator or at 45 deg. lat. This looks like some corruption but I am trying very hard to avoid a full FS9 reinstall. Can anyone provide some advice? Many thanks,Phil
November 20, 200520 yr Perhaps for the Victoria scenery check your scenery seetings and make sure your Victoria sceneries are higher than the ones you just loaded with Victoria landclass higher than Victoria landscape. Bud
November 20, 200520 yr Commercial Member Hi Phil, glad to hear you're liking what Jon and I came up with.Like Bud said, for the Victoria area scenery the order of the entries in the scenery library is crucial. Please check the pdf manual on p. 3.As for the odd issue with the airports it's possible that the CRG installation led to this. Please see this thread for a work-around: http://forums.avsim.net/dcboard.php?az=sho...topic_id=240404Have fun!Cheers, Holger
November 21, 200520 yr Holger, Bud,Thanks to both for your prompt reply.I had installed it correctly and enjoyed the scenery for awhile. Then somehow, I must have inadvertently reversed the order while experimenting. Anyway, it's OK again... I should have rechecked more carefully before dialing 911!Having said that, I find the specified sequence somewhat counter-intuitive. Is not the priority normally: mesh, then LC, then anything sitting on top of the LC, such as buildings, etc.?? Or is it to some extent dependent on how the author structures his work?Of course, it would help a bit if the numbering sequence in scenery.cfg matched that in the scenery library, so that everybody could agree on what "higher" means. Maybe in FS10...I'll now try to solve the airport issue.Holger, thanks for all your freeware! I'll be purchasing Misty Fjords shortly to start paying up my debt...Cheers,Phil
November 21, 200520 yr Is it global warming, or cooling ... if you look closely you'll note the trees at Ogden Point in the Victoria scenery drop their leaves early. Jon My blog
