Question about NAVDATA (wpNavAPT.txt)

Featured Replies

Hello all,

In the NAVDATA for PMDG I would like to know the meaning of the data for wpNavAPT.txt

Exemple for this FIMP airport.

SIR S RAMGOOLAM MAURITIUFIMP14 09974136-20.424661  57.672020109.9013600183

SIR S RAMGOOLAM MAURITIUFIMP32 09974316-20.437150  57.697953000.0031600098

We have two runways..ok

SIR S RAMGOOLAM MAURITIUFIMP14 = Name and Runway 14

09974 = Length

136 = heading (I suppose)

09974136-20.424661  57.672020 = Latitude and Longitude

109.90= ILS

13600=heading= 136.00  I suppose??

For all above I suppose

And what is the last 183 for Rnw 14 and 098 for Rnw 32

Thnks in advance for your help.

Have good day

Regards

Dom

For future reference, there's also this:

The code boxes cut the text awkwardly, but if you paste the data into Notepad, you can read it a bit better.

I first posted that information about 9 years ago, I'd forgotten about but now I do recall that the formatting was lost when it was transferred to the new knowledge base pages from the old board. I have the same in either txt or pdf if you are interested.
