I purchased the boxed version sold by Aerosoft of the PMDG 777 -200LR/F. How do I go about getting/ applying updates for this add-on. The PMDG website is not very informative. Thanks.

There are no longer updates but full installers which include the updates. Download the installer from - http://support.aerosoft.com/index.php?action=show&dl=VeHTMAAIFIMWlq1TPkmx2Mw3lpreY3j0VMJBF3Ohl%2BytghzuIlUvqyIbhc4Q9EB61Q3Ilv95LbC6qQrHAhUl3KNxmStajwL1. Uninstall the version on your computer using Control Panel\Programs and Features. Install the downloaded installer. Be sure to run the PMDG Operations Center before uninstall and after install so your liveries can be repaired.

I have the Box version of PMDG 777-200 also. I followed the above suggestions. Aerosoft is asking me to enter a "Serial Key" to Downlaod the File. How do get a" Serial Key". I have a CD and a Download Manager from PMDG 777 website. Do I need the one from Aerosoft in order to get the Boxed version updates?

How do get a" Serial Key".

 

It's in the box that has your DVD with the 777 on it. The same one that you would use to activate the aircraft.

Yes. Uninstall the 77LR/F using Control Panel\Programs and Features. Install the download as administrator. Be sure to run the PMDG Operations Center before the uninstall and then run it again after the install. Repair your liveries using the PMDG OC.
