REX Texture Direct with Soft Clouds, ASCA and AS16 all combined

I believe ASCA will replace all textures having to do with anything in the sky. REX will still affect water, coral, runways, taxiways, airport lighting, etc.

Is it possible to do a free trial of ASCA? I bought as2016 but wanted to try the cloud art. Not sue if it is possible to try it out without buying.

There is no trial for ASCA.

Alright so I figured out that the ASCA Clouds have a huge impact on the VAS. I turned them down to 1024 32-Bit and now it works perfect! About 500mb less VAS with no reducing of the Graphics or LOD

Try the 512 or 1024 DXT textures instead of the 32 bit textures. DXT textures perform better, don't require as much memory and look almost the same.

@pcubine I set it up that ASCA only does the changing and the sky colours. Like in this video:

@jimburke Alright I'll try it. Thanks for the tip :)

Hmm this is interesting. I didn't realize there was a reason to get ASCA if you are already using rex soft clouds. Didn't know both could be used at same time for different purposes.
