Hi guys,

I'm looking for freeware global mesh for FS2004, especially for my home town, Cape Town, as our Table Mountain is looking very flat.
Any ideas?

I'm also using Howard's 'The Natural World' textures, in a separate FS install using scenery & add-ons from 'The Ford Tri-Motor Project'.

Only global freeware option I know of:

Lots of files to download so be aware you can download 2 at a time to make the process easier. Download the terrain map as well so you know exactly what file affects what part of the world.

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I have got it in my normal Fs2004 install, & somehow, when I added the Ford Tri-Motor Cape Town scenery into that install, my coast line affected the Cape Town scenery.

Don't know why they didn't group the files into bigger downloads. Probably the best way to download if you want everything is while surfing forums and things.

Possibly because large areas of the planet still do not have high speed unmetered internet

Ok, so Ive downloaded my 6x areas for South Africa. Maybe try it all tonight.
