WidevieW setup in a Flight Deck Solutions FBPT Cockpit

Featured Replies

I have built a FDS Cockpit and I am trying to setup WidevieW to sync my views. Details as follows

- Dual seat (trying to get views from Captains side aligned).

- Three 70" 4K TV's each driven by a PC

- side angles 60 degrees

- From captains seat I am obviously nearer left screen than right.

- Virtual Cockpit views (no panels)

I have set angles and played with zoom but cannot get the views properly aligned.  If I park at a gate and get the views nearly aligned I then find they aren't aligned on runways or when in the air the horizons are not aligned across the three tv.

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully received.

Thanks

David

I dont have an answer to your technical question, but goodness that is a nice setup!

Let me guess.... you want 64bit.

Have you tried asking st the WV forum ?

Anyway : start with your main screen and a zoom of 0.8.

Use the Viewgroups feature from P3D and you can make 3 "connected" views.

If you use the Prosim suite + flightmodel you also can add a new view, drag it to another monitor.

Left click with your mouse on the new view .

By holding down the spacebar + left mouse button you can move the viewpoint on the monitor all direction. Do this till the views "connect".

The same for the other monitor.

Then save the flight..

Remember that you always lefclick on a monitor first and then allign the view.
