FTX ORBX install problems with P3Dv3?

Featured Replies

Hello,

I have installed P3Dv3.4 on Win 10 and have a number of addons working including PMDG, FTX PNW, North and South CA. I had previously purchased FTX EU England and Wales and Lancair IV-P,  but consistently get an error when trying to install them. The error is a dialog box that says:

Radio Buttons> On Next, Line 13: Argument 2 must be of type string.

Stack Traceback:

1:[Radio Buttons>OnNext] Line: 13 in main chunk

Has anyone else had any problems with installing ORBX product in Win 10 for P3Dv3.4?

Thanks.

Which version of FTX central are you using?

Asus Rampage VI Extreme Encore(water Cooled) EVGA RTX 3090 FTW3 Hybrid, 64 DD4 @ 2800 2 x 2x M.2 in raid 0.

Hi, I am in the same boat / same error. I have just purchased the Lancair IV aircraft on DVD but I don't think it's compatible with FTX Central 3 with P3D v3.4.  Have I wasted my money?

Have you been to orbx forums? I'd always start with the manufacturers own support.

You need to get the licence transferred onto your ftx direct account to get the latest installers via ftx central 3.

+1, best advice for anyone who has issues like this.  If folks would follow the rather simple instructions provided by ORBX, then the transfer, download and install is extremely easy, simple and stress-free.

For example, last night, I added a couple more ORBX products back into my sim, which I had already purchased before the switchover.  I just clicked on the product, chose to install, FTXC3 checked my license and then started the download and install.
