SSG E-170 Evolution vs X-crafts E-175 V2 Thoughts?

Featured Replies

X-plane store has both these on sale. Ive read /viewed some of the sparse reviews, but would like to know if anyone here has their opinions on these two.

Im the type who like my aircraft as sophisticated as possible, and while I dont think either of these are study level, one must meet up halfway? Just nice to have an EMB jet in the hangar and the feelthere for P3D is long in the tooth and hard to see with its poor visuals.

Thanks

I can't compare both, as I only have the X-Crafts. I also had the Feelthere in FSX, and I enjoy the X-Crafts at least as much and it has better visuals. The FMC takes a while getting used to as it's their own development, but it works well.

Also, X-Crafts seem to offer better support from what I'm reading at the .org. forums.

Thanks for the inputs.  Both seem neck and neck in either review.  It does seem X-Crafts gets a little more attention and support.

I have both.  Amongst some other things the FMC has some updates which make it a little more user friendly.

Which one are you referring to?

You can now use your keyboard for data entry as an example. Youtube and the site have the extras on a video.

I think your referring to the Xcrafts one.

If you have both, which one is more representative of the real aircraft?

You're right I have Xcrafts. I was referring to v1 and v2. The latter had several improvements on v1. I actually have the freebe versions which were on the download section for the SSGE 170- and 190.To be frank, leaving aside the fmc these are pretty comparable to xcraft's 175.

Oh I see. Thought you had both X-Crafts and the SSG Evolution. Both seem decent, although Im reading that the SSG has quite a complicated and annoying FMC.

Thanks again for the input.
