seems like an amazing deal on some playsims  "branded products" didn't look at what shipping would be.

I did that once before, and I learn from the once  before's, the shipping was three times the price of the product and totally outrageous given the product. Bought $100 of printer ink cartridges once, a small box, should have been $5 at most, they charged my $25. But worse their ad said free shipping, poorly constructed or very manipulative, there was some fine print that nobody could see that restricted the free shipping. Didn't know this until the package arrived and I was nailed for the $25.

 

Moral, be very careful about online purchases and shipping, all the time.

 

Now if those were direct downloads, I would be all in.

What version of the VFR scenery is this?  I have Playsims Volumes 1 - 10 at latest issue, but some of the DVD's are a little "iffy" when it comes to reading them. At £2 a volume, I would repurchase all to have a new backup option.  Thanks.

EDIT: Just seen the scenery is for FS9!  Maybe not latest version?

Only the VFR update disks are for FSX - if you had the original versions.

The Scottish ones are current (if they have any left).

VFR airfields are also original versions.

There are still some bargains...but best be careful...

Thanks Keith.  I originally owned the FS9 disks, but upgraded to V3, which has much greater detail, when they became available.  I then purchased the whole lot Vols 1 - 10 where Vol 1 - 3 are clearly identified as Version 3.  Think I may be best leaving them for now.  Regards.
