Shalom and greetings all my pals,

Presenting a Thanksgiving flight from PACD Cold Bay Airport also known as Thornbrough Air Force Base located in Cold Bay in the Aleutians East Borough of Alaska to PANC Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport located 5 miles southwest of downtown Anchorage where all military servicemen and servicewomen go home in the major Alaskan city or catch connecting flights to go home in other Alaskan cities or anywhere in America.

Very nice and love the sky theme!

Beatiful! The landing was of course a tribute to the legendary Bob Hoover - touching down one main, then the other before finally landing. However, I suspect that the 707 had all engines still running?  :Tounge:

Fabulous trip

HLJames and HighBypass,

Thanks for your kind words.

I do not know who Bob Hoover is but yes my plane's four engines were running during the approach and landing.

There is no prohibition to have a Part I, Part II, Part III, etc.  We have the 'limit to 20' rule because some members do not have fast connections and it takes a long time to load more than 20 in one topic.  We are just trying to be considerate to our membership!

BTW, your images are crisp and clear and very realistic as usual.  Hope you will continue to post your screen shots here!

Best regards,

Jim

Very nice Aharon.  More HFG?

I went into Shemya (PASY) a couple of times as an FO on a "320Cs".  Shemya may not have been the end of the world, but I could see it from there.

Too much work for me to create two or three seperate threads and it will be confusing to loyal readers. I have 10,000 screenshots waiting for me to publish!!!

Thanks for your kind words. You can definitely bet that I will continue posting screenshots forever because it is BEST part of flying on FSX. Without screenshots, it is NO fun to fly on FSX!!!

I am on new laptop that is very very powerful. Also bought P3D but have not installed it yet. However, I am using FSX Deluxe with SP1 and SP2 without problems averaging 100 fps per flight which never happened to me for past 9 years of FSX flying using my past laptops. LOL LOL Am thinking of installing ORBX base packages in order to get PAJN and PAKT airports but am afraid to do so to screw up my new laptop and FSX!!!!

Happy Chanukah and Merry Christmas to you!

Regards,

Aharon

Thanks for your kind words but do not understand HFG comment unless you mean HJG which is yes it is HJG 707 model.

It is awesome that you flew in real life as pilot into PASY. Must be tough for you to fly in winter conditions!
