LJ35A AofA Indicator Work ?

Featured Replies

Hi Folks,

Does the Angle of Attack indicator work on the LJ35A - I've never seen a needle or anything move... Seem like this plane would need it more than many...

Thanks...

Scott

Hi Scott,

Yes, both AOA indicators work, although how accurate they are I don't know. You should see a thin vertical white line (bar) on the left side of the indicator that will move to the right as the AOA increases. Pull the L35 up into a stall and see if the AOA indicator reacts.

Hi Al,

Thanks as always...

Yeah - LOL - maybe I'll wear my reading glasses next time...

I'll take a closer look...

I had trouble determining whether it was working as well.  The contrast between the needle and the gauge background is poor so it's hard to see.

It's working fine here, during final approach I typically get two units AoA shown which seems about right.
