December 6, 20169 yr It saves out as a png is there a way to have it save out as a bmp ? thanks Rich Sennett
December 6, 20169 yr Screen shots were .png format in XP10, so I doubt that will change. It's a lossless, compressed format that preserves the image quality while being significantly smaller in file size than BMP files. Less space on your hard drive and easier to share online. December 6, 20169 yr PNG is a lossless compression format. It's the same as a BMP with smaller size (quality-wise).
