Hello. I downloaded some replacemeant freeware clouds off of avsim. :( It did not even cross my mind at the time to back up all my cloud files s. With that said. Dose anyone know where I can get the default clouds or what cd-file they are on? I would like to avoid a reinstall as much as I can. Thanks :)

Don't know offhand which disk you'll find the clouds on ... you could use the EXPLORE function to look, in Windows Explorer .... but for what my recommendation is worth, why don't you go straight to:http://fsw.simflight.com/fsw2004.html...and download Chris Willis' freeware enhancement FS Sky World? It is ten times better than default and wonderful stuff. Chris now lends his talents to the payware Active Sky product, but this is Chris at his freeware best.MarkMark "Dark Moment" BeaumontVP Fleet, DC-3 AirwaysTeam Member, MAAM-SIM[a href=http://www.swiremariners.com/cathayhk.html" target="_blank]http://www.paxship.com/maamlogo2.jpg[/a]

I agree with Mark. But, if you want to find the default clouds, look on disk 2 in the game 3 cab.Best Regards,Bill Worth

Hi, I have nothing to add to this since Mark and Bill have already answered your question. But for future reference I would suggest you download Brian Collins Fs9cddir.zip. It's an excellent help to me when I'm melting down. It's an EXCEL listing of all the locations of the items in FS9. Then you can use Explorer to retrieve your information.Best regardsJan1,KINDWhen I push the button and it works, I'm happy:-)

Get yourself upcoming version of AVS 6. It will have awesome clouds/skies and it will override whatever you downloaded.Michael J.
