WAMA (Where are my aircraft) released

What about performance and VAS if you have a couple of detailed planes from A2A, Carenado etc. parked at an OrbX airport? Is there a "Lite" mode where it doesn't render the other aircraft (maybe they're inside the hangar) but still remembers their positions?

Please check out my first post in this thread (#6).

In WAMA you can replace the highly detailed models with more lightweight ones, for example from your AI library. But usually neither VAS nor performance are much of an issue if only the external models are loaded into the sim.

If you really run into a VAS or performance issue and don't want to see the aircraft at all, I suggest that you assign my free Lorby Camera Pod or ORBXs BOB to them in the WAMA database - both are invisible vehicles with no memory footprint worth mentioning.

Best regards

Oliver, will you post on here when WMA is updated, and/ or will you post this on your web site ?

When I upload a new version to SimMarket, they will notify all customers via email. Plus, I always send an update notice to AVSIM and they put it up on the front page. But I will post here too.

About WAMA 1.01:

The version is through the first batch of testing, I am currently fixing bugs.

As has been requested, this version will allow duplicates of the same aircraft in the database. You can add a description tag to each entry, so you can identify them. This is strictly optional, and it can be switched on or off. You you could populate your home airfield with a couple of Cessnas of the same default type, then turn the duplicate feature off and use WAMA normally

Here is the current change log:

Date 16.02.2017

Version 1.01 b04

- Change: Added button to change the livery of a saved aircraft on database editor

- Change: Added button to warp to aircraft position on database editor

- Bugfix: Error when calculating GUID for imported flight files (aircraft cannot be called up for flying)

- Bugfix: Merged incorrect database name

- Bugfix: User clicking the Warp button while database is still empty

Date 14.02.2017

Version 1.01 b02

- Change: aircraft models are frozen in place after creation

Date 11.02.2017

Version 1.01 b01
