December 25, 200520 yr Nothing wrong with your game. This is a limitation of FS9 - Clouds don't have any shadows. I hope they will in the next version of FS :-)Ulf B
December 25, 200520 yr You know, I never thought about it, but it does seem darker on rainy overcast days than it does in FS's weather.----------------------------------------------------------------John MorganReal World: KGEG, UND Aerospace Spokane Satillite, Private ASEL 141.2 hrs, 314 landings, 46 inst. apprs.Virtual: MSFS 2004"There is a feeling about an airport that no other piece of ground can have. December 26, 200520 yr Hi Clayton,Just for the record, in the UK we often see rain at the same time as sunshine. Weather here is that diverse, I'm sure that you get similar condtions in the U.S.?Dave T. .........On the Devon Riviera and active 'FlightSim User's Group' member at http://www.flightsimgrpuk.free-online.co.uk/ Dave Taylor

December 26, 200520 yr No. Simple as that, I don't understand why it was even mentioned. It is good if not the best for weather simulation though and I highly recommend it, but it does nothing to the fact that light modelling (shadows) and weather in the sim don't interact.

My shadows are always off, so I didn't think about the effect of an overcast generated by MSFS.....
