captain sim L1011 VC texture mod

Recommended Posts

the $10 holiday sale yielded the nice b52 buff and the high-quality tristar. buff's vc mod's out of the way so here comes the tristar vc mod available at sim-outhouse.

http://www.sim-outhouse.com/sohforums/local_links.php?catid=117&linkid=22385

improved the night lighting in the VC as the flood light effect was too bright for use at night.

Textures edited:

1) VC flood lights toned down so as to not be blinding
2) Gauge surrouds is black
3) enhanced color saturation of gauge limit arcs
4) guage glass with purple tint to resemble anti-reflective coating
6) external model glass tint darkened a shade or two
7) tire contact surface lighter gray

Looks good.

I bought this during the sale but still haven't gotten around to downloading it yet but I'll surely apply these textures.

Hi,
I always have a love with those Tri-Jets. Just want your comments about this product. And when do they usually have sale, want to pick her up next available sale if possible?

Thank you
Hoang Le

They have the sale once a year, usually in Dec but it his year it was Jan 11th and it lasts 24 hours, so you'll be waiting a while.

Check the Bargain Hunters Shack once in a while here to keep up with sales.

Hello,

Thank you I will monitor closer from now. Indeed as I get older I start to like the older aircrafts.

Cheers.
