I own both and the fidelity of the DF 727 is amazing and there is a major free upgrade in the works as well.Cheers,JohnBoeing 727/737 & Lockheed C-130/L-100 Mechanichttp://www.sstsim.com/images/team/JR.jpg
December 26, 200520 yr I finally loaded up the C130, heavy on frames, but very beautiful, very detailed.I personally love the 727, its one of my favorite.Id recommend the 727, but the VC is a little less crisp, although there is still a lot to do! And a lot of the stuff is on the engineers panel, not sure if you can see that with track IR
December 26, 200520 yr Got the 727 DF today and also have the IR Tracker 4!!!ITS A DREAM!!!!! McDaniel
December 26, 200520 yr To be fair i dont know the CS130, but the 727 is so much fun to fly, because its really hard work, no superduper Autopilot and FMC!!!!:-)Daniel

December 26, 200520 yr DF's 727 is one heck of a good airplane, you made a great choice. Those videos were awesome, is that TrackIR that lets you zoom around the VC like that? David
December 26, 200520 yr >Those videos were awesome, is that TrackIR that lets>you zoom around the VC like that? >>DavidWhatever it is he is using to pan around like that, it sure gives a kind of spasmic impression. I really hope he did it on purpouse to make the videos.:-hahhttp://www.scandicair.com/images/sa_banner.gif"Real men fly with round gauges"[/color] Staffan
December 26, 200520 yr That movement kind of makes me feel a little ill and I have never suffered from motion sickness. Andrew
December 26, 200520 yr THe CS 727 was the first payware aircraft I bought...lets just say I wish I knew about the DF 727. Back then I was still new to the fs world, thus uneducated about the best aircraft packages on the market..oh the power of hinesight. Anyways, I was thinking of getting DF 727 despite the fact that I have CS 727. The CS 727 is good, but DF 727 looks a lot better, especially the VC. CheersTristan

Mine is a bit too sensative and has a tendency not to stay put when I stop moving my head, yours looks like what I want. (Btw I have TrackIR3Pro + vector, not TrackIR4)Thanks!!PS.One last thing, does the TCAS show Vatsim traffic? Thanks!!!
December 26, 200520 yr He He HeIt is TrackIR4pro!And yes, the first time is kind of strange to use it.But if you have found the right configuration and settings (still tweaking like always :-)) it will blow you away, just the possebilityto take a fast close look at some instrument is great, and i love it to rise my head to look down on the runway when i taxi.Just pure fun!Not to mention the use in LockOn, its great for combat!RegardsDanielPS: Dont know about TCAS in Vatsim, will try today :-)
December 26, 200520 yr Commercial Member Naturally, my opinion would be a bit biased, but a forum search should tell you all you need to know Tristanhttp://www.dreamfleet2000.com/gfx/images/F...BANNER_PAUL.jpg Cheers Paul Golding
