PMDG 777-200 FMC Data updates

Featured Replies

Hello

I need help in understanding if there is a way to update PMDG 777-200 FMC STAR/SID Data. I am unable to see new SIDs for KATL such as NASSA2 VUZ or POUNC2 STEIT or KPHX STAR such as DRRVR PINNG1. Also It is difficult to find real world SIDs and STARs for KIAH as well. Is there a way to update the FMC database?

Thanks and please guide.

I've used the Navigraph updates for other planes, but not the PMDG 777 yet.

1.  Upgrading the Navigraph, does it update just the FMC data in the PMDG 777-200LR/F or does is also update the files in the Prepar3D v4 as well, or they one in the same database?

2.  and...does NOT having a properly updated database affect the P3D-ATC's ability to recognize that you have activated an IFR flight plan in the FMC?  P3D-ATC only seems to give me VFR options.

1. Navigraph only updates the FMC Navdata. P3D nav data is completely separate.

2. It's unrelated to the update state of your nav data. P3D ATC will only offer you IFR options if you create an IFR flight plan in the P3D, or in an external flight planner. Otherwise it assumes you are VFR.
