Ordering/downloading PMDG products without flightsim?

Featured Replies

The subject says it all:cool:
I have ordered my new PC, it must be arriving within a couple of weeks.
I understand that the PMDG-products come with an amazing number of documents and manuals to work/read through.
So, can i already buy, DL and read any of these manuals prior to have any flightsim installed?
It would save me some time once my rig arrives ...

You can buy and download, not sure you'll be able to install. But maybe you can make a dummy folder...

The documents are not available without doing a installation of the product, and the product needs to have the flight simulator already installed before you install PMDG.

Hoi Peter, thanks for your reply, but as Dan said, I fear that he is right, so i have to wait...

Thanks Dan for your reply ...

I would wait anyway mate. I'm ready to buy the Queen of the Sky and 777 but not until the next version of P3D comes out. Too risky in my opinion.

PMDG has said many times that the update to 64-bit will probably be covered, that they plan on providing an update to NGX, 777 or 747v3 at no additional cost.

Hi, Thanks for that. Thats not the response I got from PMDG last week. They said until they got hold of V4 then they didnt know if it was just a small update or a completly new product. I thought the same as you and was ready to splash the cash on the 747 and 777 but after getting that i'm waiting.
