FS Global Ultimate Next Generation

Can anyone tell me how does FreeMesh X compare to FS Global 2010? I have the latter one. Would it make sense to get rid of it and install FreeMesh X? Is one better than the other?

FS global has airport flatten meshes, free mesh will have plateaus, why would you rather have that?

I don't understand what you mean - FS Global 2010 has same plateaus, unless I use FTX Vector AEC tool. Isn't it the same with FreeMesh X?

Hi Tomasz,

This might help:

I am assuming the resolution provided by FSGlobal 2010 will lie below that of FreemeshX. For me there seems little doubt that FSGUNG currently provides the best available Mesh. Yes, you will encounter occasional airport elevation anomalies, as mentioned above,  but a free tool is provided by PILOT'S (AFM2) allowing you to correct on an ad hoc basis as and when you encounter them.

Regards,

Mike
