April 2, 20179 yr Moderator Essentially there are no tweaks for p3d, at least not like there were for FSX. If you're getting 23 and it's smooth, I wouldn't mess with it too much. However, follow Rob's guide for setting up P3D and it should help. Also check our tips & tricks forum. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160

April 2, 20179 yr Honestly that performance doesn't seem to bad at all for what you are running. There is a bunch more that goes into frame rate. What resolution are you running? What are the graphic settings at? Nick Hatchel "Sometimes, flying feels too godlike to be attained by man. Smooth 4K here and having 25fps in EGLL and i am happy. So to OP. Online Make some small adjustment inside P3D since you are close to what you will get. Smooth flights are more important . Im running at 1080p, graphics setting on everything on maximum. when at egcc uk2000 , i get around 30fps with the pmdg 777 but when enterning heathrow i get around 25-30fps dropping and high rising again. again im probably just being ignorant and wanting more :). April 2, 20179 yr That seems rather good to me. I doubt there is much else to get anything better than what you have without reducing some settings. It's not about the actual fps, more about how smooth. Check out the P3D guides and see what they say. Nick Hatchel "Sometimes, flying feels too godlike to be attained by man. Heathrow with everything on max in the T7 achieving above 25 fps is absolutely great in my book. I run a 970 also, but on a [email protected] - so weaker than yours, and I'd say I would have around 17-18 in EGLL in the NGX, but with more sensible settings, but smooth however, and thats the game here - smooth ops...
