June 2, 200719 yr FS9. I want FSX, but I'm saving money for my saving money for a real-world private pilot license. :-hah
July 15, 200718 yr It's all right. I found out from another source that the FMC weights page fails to operate properly unless the IRS's have been running for 10 minutes (start-up/alignment included).
July 19, 200718 yr Can anyone help me with1. How to perform a cold start.2. How to register a standing aircraft position (IRS)I have read the pdf manual, but still have problems. Is there a tutorial available? Thanks.Stanner
July 19, 200718 yr First you must enter the ZFW, and then the gross. Also the weights are in Kilograms. There are 2.2046 pounds to one kilogram.Perhaps your problem is that you are trying to enter values measured in pounds. These would be unrealistic, and therefore rejected as an"invalid entry".Stanner
July 30, 200718 yr Hey guys, they just release Service pack 3 for the iFly 747 on the file library (FS2004). It's meant to fix many bugs, however, after I install it, all the screens in the VC (MFD, FMC, EICAS) are black, the gauges don't display, even though in the 2D panel they show up just fine.Does anyone else have this problem? PS: I'm talking in FS2004
July 30, 200718 yr Did you install it in FS2004 or FSX? If in FSX, does everything else work in the 2D mode, particularly the FMC?Thanks:RTH
July 30, 200718 yr Hey guys, can someone tell me if in FS2004, using the iFly 747 patched to service pack 3, they can see the PFD and EICAS screens in the Virtual Cockpit? mine are black, no matter what I do (change views, planes, etc). I can see them working fine in the 2D panel though.
August 2, 200718 yr Hi , I also have the same problem. I'm trying to figure it out. I guess that is something with the fsuipc.dll module. Maybe registration perhaps? I tried a lot of times to fix it but I couldn't get it to work. For now I'm using the new flight model and the MCP v3 over sp2. I'm gonna keep using iFly 747-400 on Fs2004 because I really like its systems simulation that NO OTHER addon aircraft really has, at least that I know, even payware. It worked perfect for me with SP2 as it didn't have any problem on my machine before.I'm gonna keep trying to figure it out.cheersEduardo
August 3, 200718 yr I solved it!Install the latest FSUIPC.dll, version 3.75Just Google it, download it and you're done!
