iFly 737NG FSX Configuration Problem

Featured Replies

I am scratching my head...

I recently purchased the iFly 737NG for FSX (I had bought the iFly 737NG for FS9 back in 2011). The download went well, and everything appears in place. However, the inputs into the FSX configuration tool are not showing up on the simulator. None of the iFly models are showing winglets or cockpit eyebrows, even though I added those options in the configuration. In addition, I downloaded a iFly delta 737-700 with winglets folder and added that to the fleet via Microsoft Flight Simulator X - SimObjects - Airplanes - iFly 737-700. I set it up in the configuration tool, but the added aircraft does not appear in the simulator. I had never experienced this with my iFly 737 for FS9! Is this a special quirk with FSX? Can anyone tell me what's going on?

By the way...how do you open the cargo doors and the catering doors on these models?

Any assistance would be greatly appreciated...

Hi,

Probably best to post in the iFly support forums for this, I think.

Add one version at the time, save and open FSX with that plane, if you want to many versions then it seems that the tool doesn't save them properly, must be a bug.

Cargo doors open with CTRL+ E+2 after or ground power or APU fired up.

Thanks for the replies! I was able to upload aircraft when I ran the Config tool as Administrator, instead of just opening it.
