May 10, 20179 yr I have just installed the PMDG 777, and when I am flying the screen keeps freezing for several seconds and than it starts up again and than freezes for several seconds etc. I am getting frame rates of 20-23 which is OK. May 10, 20179 yr Steff, please note the forum rules that require full names on all posts. Are the events occurring every minute or every hour? What else are you running as an addon to FSXSE? Are you using FSUIPC? Are you using FSUIPC autosave? Do you use Windows Defender or any AV program? Just guessing without knowing more. Dan Downs KCRP

I've experienced that each time I did a new install, and that is, in most part, a tweaking thing. It takes time to find the possible sweet spot by configuring your fsx.cfg file. FSUIPC autosave, Anti virus, and your system capabilities play part in this as well. Make sure that you experiment with the Affinity Mask entry in your CFG file. I've set mine in order to resolve the freezing issue: [JOBSCHEDULER] AffinityMask=84 Do a google search on how to determine the affinity mask for your processor. Hope this helps.
