May 21, 20179 yr I for one will be quite willing to give DTG a chance and consider repurchasing 6 or 12 months down the road if they can pull what FSW currently is, into a workable enjoyable product. However in the meantime I would just rather have my £20 back sitting in my pocket, than theirs. As others have mentioned and I myself have commented in other threads, those of us who've been around their train sim franchise since they took it over from Kuju/EA know how the company works and thinks. Very good at pre-scripted hype/marketing but this is not always followed through in the execution. (Most of the decent train sim addons are those supplied to DTG by third parties and heavily scripted to get round the shortcomings of their core software). And don't even get me started on the train-wreck that is TSW. Having taken my Level D 767 for a spin in FS9 yesterday afternoon, followed by a flight in FSX with the Captain Sim 757 (suddenly remembering you have to align the IRS before anything works!) that is still pretty much as good as it gets. Heavy iron. Dials and switches you can read in a crisp 2D cockpit. No CTD, no dayglow graphics, perfect really.
