The copilot is still listening when I press CTRL key.

I have VatsimPTT=17 and NotifyPTTstate=1. As I  use CTRL for communication when flying online this is a bit

disturbing.

Thanks

Peter

Try using the <END> keyboard key in Vatsim software instead of CTRL key.

By default MCE listens to that key and assumes it's used for third party transmission. And it doesn't require any edit to ini file

Unfortunatelly does not work either. I deleted my VatSimPTT=17 in fsinsider and left NotifyVatsimPTT=1 in mce.ini.

I remeber having had that problem before in FSX and you send my some files and thereafter it worked.

Thanks Peter

In this case the only file that would matter is fsInsider.dll for FSX sitting inside simulator installation folder.

Suggest you look in your e-mail for the file I may have sent you and try it on FSX.

Finally I got my problem sorted. In the MCE advanced config I have the numlock-key ticked to be able to mute the communication with

MCE; this must have somehow "disabled" my CTRL-key. After unticking numlock-key in the configuration, my CTRL-key works as expected;

when pressed the CoPilot doesn't listen.
