June 4, 20179 yr Author Yes they are by Henrik Nielsen now condensed into these 2 packages https://library.avsim.net/search.php?CatID=root&SearchTerm= henrik+nielsen&Sort=Added&ScanMode=0&Go=Change+View Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
June 4, 20179 yr Yes, I am using them, although there are a few ship models that are the old FS9 format that will crash your sim if you're currently pointed in their direction which have to be removed. June 4, 20179 yr Author Is there a way of identifying the FS9 types? June 4, 20179 yr Apparently there are only very few FS9 models in this package. If someone knows how to identify those models, we could remove them and then the package would work just fine. Lee H i9 13900KF 64GB Ram 24GB RTX 4090
June 4, 20179 yr Moderator wasn't there a program distributed with WOAI that would convert FS9 models to FSX? Seem to recall something like that. Vic RIG#1 - I9 14900K MSI Pro z790 RTX 5070Ti 40" 4K Monitor 3840x2160
June 4, 20179 yr Author An update - After having visited the forum for this package the only thing that needs to be removed is the Calypso boats for it to work. Also can now be installed outside the sim and creating an addon xml file helps a great deal. The AI Ship packages are available in the library as per the above link. Unzip Global AI Ship Traffic V1 and then 200 AI Ships and AI Ship Traffic, this latter to be merged with V1. At this point you have two choices. Drop each of those folders into the respective places in P3D or keep the whole outside the P3D folder and link to it via an xml file to be placed in the Prepar3dv4 addons folder. XML example (provided by user Izamm) <SimBase.Document Type="AddOnXml" version="4,0" id="add-on"> <AddOn.Name>AI Ships</AddOn.Name> <AddOn.Description>AI Ships</AddOn.Description> <AddOn.Component> <Category>SimObjects</Category> <Path>G:\AI_Ships\Boats</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>SimObjects</Category> <Path>G:\AI_Ships\Animals</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Effects</Category> <Path>G:\AI_Ships\Add_to_FSX\Effects</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Sound</Category> <Path>G:\AI_Ships\Add_to_FSX\Sound</Path> </AddOn.Component> <AddOn.Component> <Category>Scenery</Category> <Path>G:\AI_Ships</Path> <Name>AI_Ships</Name> </AddOn.Component> </SimBase.Document> Joaquin Blanco Intel Core i9-9900K at 5Ghz, Corsair Hydro H100i RGB PLATINUM CPU cooler, Asus ROG STRIX Z390-E,Motherboard, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Super 8GB GDDR6, G.Skill Trident Z RGB 32GB DDR4 3200MHz Memory, 500GB Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 PCIe,2TB Samsung 860 QVO Solid State Drive, 2TB, 2 x Samsung 860 Evo 2TB, 1 x 1TB Samsung 860 Evo, Corsair RM650x 80 PLUS Gold 650W PSU.
