Hello it's me ....again :-)

Found this in the manual...I know it does not seem like it, but I do read the manual....

"Flight simulator stock data provides only approaches and transitions. SIDs and STARs are not available. These can be added by navdata updates."

How can I get and add those navdata updates, to have sid and star's? (I just love the ability to visualise them on the map)

At this time you need to subscribe to both Navigraph and fsAerodata, although the requirement for fsAerodata may change in the future.

Approaches Procedures and NavAids are automatically added to scenery.cfg.

If you are using FSX you may need to fiddle with your scenery.cfg a bit to get some of the SIDs/STARs to show up in LMN since the folder they are contained in isn't automatically added to scenery.cfg.

I opted for a 3-month fsAerodata subscription so I could get an idea of what it might look like in LMN.

I won't need it once LMN supports Navigraph, but it has been worth the $10 USD or so.  

 

 

 

I note that LNM installs Navigraph airac 1707 and the manual says you can update navdata from Navigraph  - how do you do this as I don't find LNM in the list of Navigraph downloads for airac 1712?  I do have airac 1712r2 for fsAerdata installed.

that's the reason why version 1.8 is still beta. It will be supported soon when the release is out.

Thanks but I guess this wont happen for 1712 wasn't intending to to update my navigraph data again for a while but I do try to have all my various navdata from the same airac.  I will say this with recent changes to LNM it just about does everything Aivlasoft's rather expensive EFB does very impressive - well done.
