fs2crew wont install

Featured Replies

I bought the special bundle pack at sim market during the sale.

So far I have run as admin and disabled AV but no joy ,its not showing up in the instrument panel drop down with FSX-SE and a search of the panel.cfg shows its not there either

Any ideas?

Please run the Configurator and enable FS2Crew.

That should add the required FS2Crew entries to the panel.cfg file.

If not, then you have a write permission issue.

Be sure to run everything with Admin rights.

Right click on the FSX.exe and select "always run as admin" in the compatibility tab.

Thanks that did it. Was a way from simming 6 months and forgot about the configurator.

I'm having the same problem. The configurator is set to run as administrator.

When I click the switch to enable FS2crew I get a pop-up saying that it is disabled!

Kevin,

1. Uninstall the aircraft.

2. Manually delete this folder if it's leftover:

SimObjects\Airplanes\mjc8q400

3. Re-install the aircraft.

You are now clean and fresh so to speak.

4. Re-enable FS2Crew.

Should work.

Cheers,

No, the installer did find the steam version. But the configurator still tries to put the config in the box version.

I've got the Airbuses, 737, 777, side by side with no problems.

Affirmative on the side by side config manager. Support ticket coming shortly.
