Bang on! I've just calculated 20% VAT and that is what equates to €81.63

Perfectly ok to buy it from Aerosoft. I got mine from there for the exact same reason. Only problem you should face, is that you might have to wait a day or 2 more for updates, but generally, there won't be too many updates to have to worry about, except now in the early stages

Um.....no, you're wrong. It's €61.97 in The Aerosoft store. Including VAT. It's actually only €50.38 Ex. VAT. To buy it directly from PMDG costs $89.99 which works out at €77.18. That makes it €15.21 cheaper with Aerosoft.

Unless I am looking at the wrong Aerosoft website and page, it is still displaying €80.96 at 19% VAT

It's 23% in my country, but I can assure you the figures I quoted above are correct.
