Poor forgotten FO (View)

Featured Replies

Hello,

I tried my first serious flight of the DC-6B (FSX:A). Very beautiful aircraft, I am more than happy. I only have some small observations which I will make as new forum topics.

In this case, there is no default viewpoint for the First Officer seat. Many views for the Captain and Flight Engineer, but the poor right seater gets no love. I would like to fly from the right seat (and better view the hydraulic pressure) but as I use TrackIR I cannot use head tracking and shifting my view to the right.

Thanks,

Robert Toten

I highly recommend a camera tool, EZDOK or Chaseplane. They change the whole view-thing.

We mentioned this during beta and the pretty good answer was that even without the FO view there were many more views in the DC6 than your NGX/747/777 cockpits.

No worries, thank you for the feedback,

Robert

Well, the poor FO is also a bit on the lazy side of things. He's just sitting there as a spectator, not even calling out the v-speeds.
