P3D is not working anymore after PMDG update

Hi support team,

finally i've installed the new updates of the PMDG aircrafts via the repair mode inside the installer. 

After the update, i started P3DV4 and a black screen appears instead of the normal mode. In my opinion it has  something to do with the update or my install method (repair mode), because it was the last thing i did before.

I already deinstalled all PMDG aircrafts, but the problem still exists. 

I hope anyone can help me.

The first problem is that you're NOT supposed to install the updates via the repair mode inside the installer. You're supposed to completely uninstall the planes, then re-install it with the new installers.

By any chance you have as a default aircraft any PMDG aircraft? another no no

ok so i made a mistake with the installation

A complete new installation of all PMDG aircrafts also didn't worked for me.

So the only solution for me is to reinstalling p3d v4 completely :(.

Did you see Chris' post about your default aircraft in P3D? What aircraft shows up when you first start the sim?

FYI - PMDG require your full name signed in all forum posts.

That really is not necessary
