August 25, 20178 yr Nice. Sadly i lost my eight yr old computer yesterday. Fsx and all my add ons. Disk crash boot sector and vista os. I am heartbroken losing my fav hobby. I am in avsim from my cell phone.

The MBR can be rebuilt...the disk has a repair utility. you will not loose anything! First thing to do is replace SATA cables...they are troublesome...and produces the same error! HLJAMES
August 27, 20178 yr I bought a new computer. My old one was stuck in an endless loop I couldn't break out of. I might recover it someday, but I needed to be online again. My new rig is able to handle P3DV4, that's the direction I think I will go in. John
