Featured Replies

I am looking for a virtual airline that uses fsx default aircraft. most I have looked at require that you use their download and they don't come with virtual cockpit or have entrance exams

the only one I have found so far is skywest virtual , but you are limited to a small schedule and are mostly night flights .  any help would be appreciated

thanks,  Rick

There are very, very few - and I would guess almost no good ones. There is very little FSX-based freeware with virtual cockpits. Do you not have any third-party aircraft?

Cheers!

I make simFDR, the most advanced flight data recorder for FSX, Prepar3D and X-Plane.

Not yet.  looking for a 737-800.

Look for a POSKY 737-800.  They come with VC.  Several liveries.

Just going to run a Chromebook and not upgrade to a Windows computer. Too many problems with the new Sims! 😱
Trying to keep peace and harmony and the will of Landru on the site seems to be a full time job!

Look at Flying Tigers Group, multiple airlines to fly for and you can fly what you want.

Try the Virtual International Flying Club. http://www.flyvifc.net/vam/index.php?lang=en

You can fly any aircraft that you want. You don't have to fly in the virtual world. They have missions that you can fly alone and after completion are rewarded with a patch of accomplishment.

Each flight is recorded so you can review data on your flights so you can see which countries you've flown to, the type of landings that were made, the hours logged, and lots more.

The best part is that it's free.

Rick, why don't you pay a visit to Platinum Airways? We apply the Open Skies principle: you fly the mission of choice with aircraft of choice at the time of choice. We are offline by default, although we have a good number of online members as well. No entrance exams with us, flights are filed via a web form. We have five non-mandatory hubs (KEWR, KDFW, CYVR, YPPH and EBBR) that you can switch between as you want. We also have many suggested missions out of our hubs, hundreds of military anv intage military flights, a Destination of the Week, many cargo flights, humanitarian flights, etc. We have a large fleet, but you're free to use your own AC if you want to.

Three requirements: minimum 18 years old, first flight within 14 days after noining and enjoy your hobby.

Or Air France / KLM, which does offer a set of downloadable aircraft, but you're not restricted to them.
