Information has to be gleaned from the Event Viewer or the AppCrashView which usually provides the faulting module and provides a clue (see AVSIM CTD Guide). P3D has a scenery and content error reporting that you can turn on in the setup that gives information to addon developers about errors in their addon that are not correct. These will not cause crashes or, at least, I have thousands of content errors and I have never experienced a crash. Developers should fix these errors as, if you do, they will be brought back with any update to P3D unless you backup the config that has all of the errors. Are you aware there is a bug in FSUIPC5 that can cause P3D to crash but crucially only when programs that interact with Ai like RC4 are running. Pete Dowson has found a long-standing bug today and hi son John will be issuing a fix very soon. There is a provisional fix available in the FSUIPC forum if you want to try it. https://forum.simflight.com/topic/87086-p3d-v45-or-44-crash-with-aiseparation-or-rc4/?do=findComment&comment=529292 Ray (Cheshire, England).
