November 21, 20178 yr Playing around with traffic explorer in FSX and I noticed that when I uncheck the Aircraft only box that a number of VEH_cyhz_xxxx objects appear. xxxx being a name such as bagcar1f, bagloader, etc. All of these items are located in my SimObjects\GroundVehicle folder and a part of the SimAddons base scenery I installed . Now it's probably a case of "no harm, no foul", but none of the other GroundVehicles appear so I'm a bit curious as to why these might. I'll hit Simaddons later, but was hoping for a quick answer here. Thanks, Ernie
November 21, 20178 yr Isn't that how Orbx turns things on/off when you go to the Control Panel for a scenery? Sounds like you have something turned off. When you turn it on, the XXX's will go away and be replaced with .bgl's. Jim Young | AVSIM Online! - Simming's Premier Resource! The xxx was meant as a placeholder for the actual name of the object because there were so many. The x's don't actually occur in the name. The actual name is VEH_cyhz_bagloader, VEH_cyhz_cater, VEH_cyhz_fueltruck1, etc. Ernie
November 22, 20178 yr Author Okay.. so did some more research and learned that the Simaddons vehicles are part of the Living World (LWcfg.spd) feature, which means that if activated they can appear anywhere within North America. Fortunately they can be turned off Simaddons cfg if not wanted.
November 22, 20178 yr No need for .cfg files. The "airport vehicle density" (or so) slider right in the display options will do that for you. You don't see road traffic in TrafficExplorer because it's not part of the AI system. The airport vehicles and boats are though. 7950X3D + 7900 XT + 64 GB + Linux | 4800H + RTX2060 + 32 GB + Linux My add-ons from my FS9/FSX days
