As far as i know P3DV4 runs in DX10.

Check the Lockheed Martin P3D website for system requirements (https://www.prepar3d.com/system-requirements/), which requires a video card with DirectX 11 capability.

Sadly the problem isn´t fixed in my case. now, after i installed the new windows update, i get a crash to desktop right after selecting a pmdg aircraft (FSX). It seems that there´s more to do for microsoft :(
