May 8, 200620 yr Just got the Overland package. :-)The A319/320/321/330/340 all look fantastic both inside and out. I guess that CLS A340 I was about to buy is on hold indefinitely now. :-hah
May 8, 200620 yr You can have an opinion, however, its a tad arrogant to assume that if an add-on isn't a full scale PMDG style hardcore simulation, it doesn't deserve to exist 'these days'.FS caters to a whole host of people and to a great deal of them, the Overland package is a great release. Infact with the direction a lot of flightsim payware groups have been moving in, it seems that a great many people do infact want high quality 'lite' packages rather than just high fidelity simulations.Quite simply there is nowhere else you will get a package like this with so many aircraft, all with VC's and with the FS2004 eye candy such as xml dynamic wingflex, xml coded landing gear animations and many other animations, in one place and for this kind of price. Just because the package is not intended for the hardcore group such as yourself does not mean you should bad mouth it by calling it a joke.
June 1, 200620 yr I am in the hardcore group but don't mind flying less complex aircraft once in a while as long as they look good, especially from the virtual cockpits. Sometimes I need a break from the 30 min start up and FMC programing and just wan't to do a quick flight. In the past, this meant flying the default aircraft for the VC or one of Posky / Meljet / SGA / IFDG / etc and having to settle for using a 2d panel. This is why I have bought the CLS line and this package. I believe they serve that purpose very well. All we need now are more repaints, especially USA liveries. Too bad I don't know how to paint or I would do some myself.Regards, Carlosthedoggggggggg
