The package isn't intended to be super detailed. Its a 'lite' package full of planes.. :)

Not a bad price for all those aircraft. Overland puts out a decent product. The "lite" product is mostly what I want than the more realistic and complicated models; the fact that the panels resemble freeware doesn't bother me. But what DOES bother me is the lack of ANY US carriers, as I do 100% of my flights in North America. They'll probably come later from either Overland or the myraid of talented painters in the FS community, so I'll wait until then before I buy. And I WILL buy this package.Bob

Someone please find out if the 777 and the Busses can be merged with the PSS panels. Otherwise these products are simple eyecandies, not more. Nothing for any half serious simmer. RegardsTom

This is clearly a very basic package and i am surprised that it is being marketed in 2006.. the cockpits look like a joke and i am sure the FDEs won't be any better. why buy something that you can get in the file library above?

Nobody's forcing you to buy anything gyrate. If you can find a great looking 737, 738, 739, A300, A319, A320, A321, A380, 772, 773, or 763 with an equally great looking vc in the library, I'm all ears. And it really gives me a chuckle to see the attitudes of "real" sim pilots. :DTodd

Guys I just got the Overland package today. From what I can tell, you can merge the PSS panel with these birds.Verdict:Good Points:Just like Aerosim really shinned with the B747-200, this package really shines with the Airbuses. The A320 series of aircraft included in this package look really good both inside and out. The VC in the A320 is the best yet seen in Flight Simulator for the A320. The A380 as with all the aircraft included in this package have great external models.Bad areas:All models in this package other than the A320 series have horrible VCs (and I mean horrible). The 737NG, 744, and 767 look terrible in my opinion. The A380 has a decent VC when compared to the A320 included but the overall blue tone of the VC is not very attractive. The A300 is borderline O.K. and most 'lite' aircraft fans should find it acceptable. The MD11 is nothing more than the freeware version we've seen already.For those like me who wanted some kind of A320 to fly in FS2k4 that didn't require a 2D panel, this package fits the bill nicely. The VC hands down is a vast improvement over PSS's aged version. The FDE is acceptable for a 'lite' aircraft and the external model is of very good quality (although I need more time to look at everything). As you can see from the above screenshots, night lighting in the A320 VC is very nice. All we need is repaints for the A320 series Airbuses. I can deal with the A300 (especially if repaints become available for airlines like American) even though I have the SSW hardcore version. Everything else in this package is crap and not well done at all (with the exception of the visual models). I thank Overland for the A320 series as we really needed that. Everything else in this package is getting uninstalled from my system... :-)

funny, i found this SMS overland MD-11 in my hard drive the other day. didn't know i had it or don't remember D/l it but glad i found it. i think the VC is nice, very clear and crisp just like the 2D. it only shows from the first officers seat though and not the left seat. is it supposed to be like that? i also have a 737 that is the same way. any way to get into the left seat? i know you're talking about that new product but i just want to say i'm very happy with their Delta MD-11. downloading some MD11 sounds now. william

Just got mine (amazing 2-day delivery). I'm not all that disappointed. If you're expecting PMDG or Captain Sim for all the vc's, look elsewhere. But considering the amount you get, I'm pretty pleased with them. What I wanted were nice vc's, that don't kill your system, and accurate models. That's what I got. The downers that I've noted on my cursory look are some bad window modeling in the 737 and 777 vc's, and a few very blurry textures (mostly in the rear of the cockpit). I've purchased other aircraft that didn't even have vc's as nice as the Boeings in this set. Cheers,Todd
