Changing to new Hardware

Featured Replies

Hello!

Finally my new PC is on its way:laugh: (INTEL Core i7-7700K @ 4,6GHz - ASUS Dual GeForce GTX 1060 6GB - 16GB RAM - 250GB ssd - 1TB hdd) and I cant wait to install FSX and all (a ton) the other things, apps, tools for it. Since I do simming for a few years now I have gathered a lot of things around FSX and I wonder if I will run into any problems with my complete hardware change....

Because there are too many programs and modules I use I thought I ask you guys if you had any problems as you changed your Hardware. Did you have any license problems or so?

Thanks

Klaus Schmitzer

Hi Klaus,

Very cool - similar boat - with that rig you might want to look at P3D... Without specifics - a new build - with a new OS - installing each product shouldn't present too much trouble - just time...

I just ordered my case yesterday - which is the first item in my list of parts for a new 7700K/GTX1070 build... Decided the 8800K/GTX1080 was more than I'm willing to spend at the moment... It will be replacing a 2700K/GTX970 build that's about five years old...

Best of luck with the new box...

Regards,
Scott
