January 12, 20188 yr Nice shot Mark! Love the Connie and BOAC. I remember in way back when I was in grade school (cant remember the grade, think it was 5th or 6th), we had a student from England visit our class and said he flew over on BOAC. Acting smug, he asked if anyone one of us Yanks knew what it stood for. There was only one, nerdy-looking kid in the back who raised his hand and fed him some humble pie. Pretty sure I read it in an Encyclopedia Britannica (quite ironic as it were, hehe). January 12, 20188 yr That's a rather cool echo in time, at the Pima Air Museum in Tuscon Arizona one can enjoy the Connie up close and personal. These videos are worth a look at the Connie and other classic aircraft.
January 13, 20188 yr Author What a magnificent museum! I'll watch the entire videos later over a TV dinner etc. Thanks John.!
